This is a DIY socket for a Prosthetic hand with sensor and batteries which can be adapted to various functions. This project was ideated due to the high priced prosthetics in the market and increase of access to 3D printing and open-source.

Objective

This is a DIY socket for a Prosthetic hand with sensor and batteries which can be adapted to various functions. This project was ideated due to the high priced prosthetics in the market and increase of access to 3D printing and open-source.

This project is designed to work as the part of a larger project Called Bionico

We then presented these ideas to the other workshop members and also to some of Vaibhav’s friends who were differently-abled. This gave us some insight into our own thought process and how it could be made better.
