What is the SDG School?

SDG School is a hybrid experiential learning program that brings interdisciplinary and multicultural groups together to work on problems and take ownership for community led action towards UN Sustainable Development Goals. It gives the participants the framework to fit themselves into the larger planetary goals and exposes them to a real life network of organizations, mentors and peers to start their sustainable journeys.

what makes THE PROGRAM different

Highlights of the SDG School

Phase 1

10 day social entrepreneurship virtual bootcamp for rapid prototyping solutions using design thinking, frugal innovation and making in interdisciplinary teams

Phase 2

Select teams get an opportunity to come to Makers Asylum, Goa for “Acceleration Residency” to further build their project prototypes with our community support & resources.

Phase 3

On completion of the residency, these select teams get exposure to the right stakeholders and changemakers to transform their ideas into real world solutions.

Collaboration & Community

Be part of an amazing tribe of globally conscious problem solvers.

Calling changemakers

Who is the program for?

SDG school is open for all the youth, but does not have an upper limit. As age is just a number 🙂

The United Nations, for statistical purposes, defines ‘youth’, as those persons between the ages of 18 and 35 years, without prejudice to other definitions by Member States.

The program is ideal for anyone who wants to start their sustainability journey and learn how to create a positive social impact

The SDG School intake is an application based process. Anyone 18 years and above can apply for the program. We do not have any prerequisites, but it’s a subjective application form accounting for eligibility and invitation.

Thanks for considering our program. We’re excited to offer reduced pricing to those who pay early because it helps us plan and optimize the program better. Plus, it’s better for the environment! Last-minute changes mean we have to rush and may increase the carbon footprint, so we ask for a slightly higher fee. Thanks for your understanding and commitment to sustainability!

If selected, you will be assigned to a team (4-5 people) that will comprise multidisciplinary participants. Through the journey of the program you will together identify a problem statement and prototype a solution for it by the end of 10 days together as a team. This journey will take you through various forms of interactions and exposure on how to work together, new concepts of innovation and design, plethora of mentors and experts and a systematic knowledge processing to think and act differently.
